BARBECUES
Modern design features make barbecueing a far simpler task. The model shown here can be lit simply by placing some rolled-up newspaper in the column and setting a match to it – no firelighters and no waiting for an age for the barbecue to get going! And being stainless steel, you won’t have to spend hours cleaning it either.
BARBECUES
Barbecued meat tastes better because the juices which fall onto the charcoal are instantly evaporated and add their flavour back to the meat. Of course, many vegetables can be prepared on the barbecue and the searing heat seals in much of the moisture and flavour that might otherwise be lost in cooking. Add some wood chips such as hickory or applewood to the barbecue for an even more authentic taste.
Whether you dine alfresco each evening or want a disposable barbecue for a picnic, Poores can supply everything you need for an enjoyable meal – except the food.
CHARCOAL BARBECUES
Charcoal barbecues range from table-top size to considerable garden features (see left), with all sizes in between.
Lumpwood charcoal and charcoal briquettes are the tradional fuels, and there are liquid and solid barbecue lighters. Instant lighting charcoal is great, too – simply pop the bag in the grill and light it with a match!
These Italian barbecues are the perfect way to enjoy the atmosphere and hospitality of open-air cooking. Simple to construct, they are supplied direct to your home with everything needed for assembly.
The Thermos range of gas-powered barbecues are built on trollies for easy positioning and storage, and feature a shelf for the gas bottle. Automatic ignition, gas control, ceramic briquettes and a cast aluminium lid ensures that you are able to produce the tastiest food.
GAS BARBECUES
Gas barbecues cook in the same way as conventional charcoal barbecues, but are quicker to get going, easier to control and there’s no waste material to get rid of. The gas flame heats up small pieces of volcanic lava rock which then give off their heat to cook the food in the same way as charcoal.

ACCESSORIES
Tool sets, safety lighters, electronic thermometer, skewers (in bamboo or stainless steel), outdoor tableware and our large range of garden tables and chairs complete your dining experience.
An electronic cooking thermometer takes the guesswork out of cooking, and means even the most inexperienced chef can be sure that meat is properly cooked.
These non-stick woks allow you to create mouthwatering stir-fry dishes on the barbecue.
